Reminder: Astaro Security Gateway V7 is End-of-Life December 31st, 2012

With just two months to go until the sun sets on Astaro Security Gateway V7, this will serve as one of the final reminders. Version 7 of Astaro Security Gateway will be end-of-life on December 31st 2012.  If you do not have an ASG V7 installation, you are unaffected by this announcement and can disregard it.

ASG 8.306 Up2Date Released & UTM 9 Appliance One-Touch Upgrade News

With this GA release of ASG 8.306, in addition to dozens of bugfixes we have also put in place the needed mechanics for valid hardware appliances to perform a one-touch upgrade from Astaro Security Gateway to Sophos UTM 9. However, upgrading will happen at staged intervals

UTM 9.002 Up2Date Released

This week we have issued Up2Date 9.002 for our UTM 9 platform. This is a stability release designed to further polish the UTM 9 platform and make it ready for an influx of thousands in the coming weeks as we publish the Hardware Appliance Up2Date that enables the one-touch upgrade from Astaro Security Gateway V8 appliance users*. *A note on ASG 8.306: We plan to release 8.306 later in September which will add in the ability to one-touch upgrade.

UTM 9.001 Up2Date Released

Following the GA release of UTM 9, we have our first Up2Date available today. This is a bugfix release designed to enhance the stability and performance of your installation. For ASG V8 appliance users – work is progressing on the next Up2Date for that platform which will enable the one-touch migration for elligible platforms.

Sophos UTM Manager 4 Public Beta Begins

With UTM 9 fast approaching it's mid-July release date, we'd like to invite you to test the next major version of our central management tool. Previously called Astaro Command Center, it is now named Sophos UTM Manager (SUM).  You can test out SUM 4 with UTM 9, and also see how it operates against your older installations; things should be backwards compatible.
