Astaro Gateway 7.500 Released
We are proud to announce that the General Availability (GA) of 7.500 has been soft-released. 7.500 includes great new features and functions, many of which were requested by our customers. To name just a few, there is a new Intrusion Protection Engine, Real-Time Bandwidth Monitoring, a transparent HTTP proxy mode with captive authentication portal, and the ability to import and export various lists.

Spam Is More Than Annoying
Not only is it annoying having to sift through all the garbage which clogs your inbox, but it costs you productivity as you attempt to separate the mails you need from the unwanted items. Spam rarely ends up in my own inbox due to the effectiveness of the blocking solution I use, (I use a solution from Astaro ) but many of the people I speak with daily communicate that in an inbox with 50 messages, 45 or more can easily be spam on a given day.

Astaro Comand Center 2.0 Released
We are pleased to announce the General Availability of the Astaro Command Center Version 2.0. This new version introduces the major new ability to configure and manage IPSEC tunnels entirely within ACC itself. By providing a centralized location from which to work with and deploy VPN tunnels between Astaro installations, administrators can save management time and automate many of the tasks involved in successfully linking sites together with encrypted links.
