The main reason for this release is to make our “One-Touch Update to V8 for Appliances” available to all valid remaining ASG installations; notably those with Wireless Security enabled via Full Guard licensing and Stand-Alone licenses.
Astaro at CeBIT 2011 – Three new product previews
Participation at the CeBIT has always been mandatory for Astaro, and this year, we are of course present again in Hanover. Today is the first day of the fair, and we had a really good start – only two hours after the CeBIT opened its gates, our booth was buzzing with visitors.
Serious Security Issues with DNS Software BIND – Astaro Products Not Affected
The Internet Systems Consortium (ISC) and US-CERT have issued a vulnerability warning which concerns BIND, the most widely used DNS software. The affected versions are 9.7.1-9.7.2-P3. This could cause the DNS server to stop processing further requests
