New Revisions of UTM 525 and UTM 625 Released

In response to market demand for Next Generation Firewall capabilities, we have just launched two enhanced high-end Unified Threat Management (UTM) appliances, Sophos UTM 525 and 625. Both models are ideal for larger organisations that require greater throughput speeds and more flexible deployment options. The Sophos UTM 525 and 625 are both based on the latest Intel Sandy Bridge server technology (using Intel Multi-Core Xeon CPUs) for optimum performance.

ASG 8.307 Up2Date Released

An Up2Date has been released for ASG 8.307 that optimizes the one-touch update to UTM 9 for supported official appliances, and contains some security patches for the Astaro Security Gateway platform. Supported ASG appliances are unlocked and ready for upgrading you to UTM 9 (if you don't see the upgrade option in your Up2Date section, be patient – it will take some hours to fully spread

Sophos UTM Manager 4 Released

Today we have officially released Sophos UTM Manager 4. The next evolution of the product formerly known as Astaro Command Center (ACC), Sophos UTM Manager (SUM) 4 lets you centrally montior, configure, and report on multiple Sophos UTM installations. Like ACC, SUM is offered completely free of charge, simply download it and run it on your own hardware, almost any virtualization platform (Eg. VMware) or inside the Amazon Cloud using our pre-built AMI

ASG 8.306 Up2Date Released & UTM 9 Appliance One-Touch Upgrade News

With this GA release of ASG 8.306, in addition to dozens of bugfixes we have also put in place the needed mechanics for valid hardware appliances to perform a one-touch upgrade from Astaro Security Gateway to Sophos UTM 9. However, upgrading will happen at staged intervals

UTM 9.002 Up2Date Released

This week we have issued Up2Date 9.002 for our UTM 9 platform. This is a stability release designed to further polish the UTM 9 platform and make it ready for an influx of thousands in the coming weeks as we publish the Hardware Appliance Up2Date that enables the one-touch upgrade from Astaro Security Gateway V8 appliance users*. *A note on ASG 8.306: We plan to release 8.306 later in September which will add in the ability to one-touch upgrade.
