Hotfix Rollup (KB2775511) Released For Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1

Microsoft has released a new Hotfix rollup for Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1)-based and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1-based computers. This roll-up contains 90 hotfixes, such as Windows Client Remote, File System components, SMB service and TCP protocol. You can visit this link to get more details of the Hotfixes:

Steps to deploy:

  • Click software deployment tab in Desktop Central
  • Click “package” tab
  • Click “Add Package”
  • Choose the package type as “MSIEXEC/EXE/ISS/Command”
  • Enter Package Details (Application name, Path type, MSU file name with Switches (/passive /quiet /norestart)
  • Click ‘Add Package’
  • Deploy the package to the targeted systems.

Now, you can make sure that for every system “Hotfix rollup” is deployed
