The sixth European Conference on Computer Network Defense (EC2ND) was held at the Technische Universität Berlin on October 28/29 and Astaro sponsored that event this year.
Beside the scientific aspirations of the conference was a very interesting talk from Felix 'FX' Lindner about the hackers view on the academic science business. To mention some other very interesting talks, I would pick the analysis of the Chuck Norris Botnet from Pavel Celeda and the “HTTPreject”-project about handling overload situations from Joerg Schneider and Sebastian Koch. Thx to Konrad Rieck for organizing it, I look forward for the seventh EC2ND.
