Ipswitch has announced that WhatsUp Gold v12.3.1 and WhatsConnected will be available December 1, 2008.

This version applies to the WhatsUp Gold product family:

WhatsUp Gold Standard Edition
WhatsUp Gold Premium Edition
WhatsUp Gold Distributed Edition
WhatsUp Gold MSP Edition

New Features Include:

WhatsUp® Gold WhatsConnected™ is a comprehensive Layer 2 and 3 discovery and visualization solution that provides insight into physical network topology and how devices are interconnected. Its unique technology goes far beyond typical IP discovery and mapping solutions by providing detailed hardware inventory and configuration information. WhatsConnected discovers, maps and documents the network down to the individual port. WhatsUp Gold WhatsConnected requires WhatsUp Gold version 12.3.1.
