7.500 HA Notice

A small issue is present in the 7.500 release which can cause some installations which are using active/passive HA to behave like an active/active cluster. Customers with active/passive HA configurations shouldn't update until 7.501 is released next week. However, if you have already updated to 7.500 and now experience some surfing issues or erratic behavior with your active/passive HA system, please contact support and they will be happy to apply a small workaround for you, or read on for the fix if you would like to apply it yourself via the command line until 7.501 is officially released

AxG V7.5 Release Completed

Completing our launch process of Version 7.5, we have released the V7.500 Up2Date to our existing installation base. Users will now be able to update to V7.5 from their existing installations. Two packages have been released, one for the 7.405 users, and another for those still at the last Beta of 7.490.

Astaro releases version 7.5 of the Astaro Security Gateway

Astaro officially released version 7.5 of the Astaro Security Gateway today. The new version of the Unified Threat Management product includes several enhancements such as an improved Intrusion Protection Engine, multicast support, and real-time bandwidth monitoring capabilities. Many of the new features included in this new version were included in the release due to user feedback on Astaro's new Feature request site.
