GFI recently released GFI MailEssentials 14, the latest version of the number 1 anti-spam solution on the market. Building on the excellent spam capture rate in version 12, GFI has added an additional anti-spam engine, SpamRazer.

The SpamRazer engine improves the spam capture but most importantly provides effective out-of-the-box filtering with minimal configuration and no need for tweaking or training to be able to capture the latest spam threats – such as MSNBC, CNN and NDR spam – as well as future spam types as they appear.

Easy-to-install, over 98% spam capture rate, double protection and the best price on the market: what more can you ask for?

The latest version of GFI MailArchiver will be released on September 2. The main feature in version 6 is integration with Microsoft’s Outlook email client. GFI is the first email archiving vendor to offer Outlook integration without the use of stub files. The use of stub files is not recommended by Microsoft due to their impact on Exchange (for more information visit Microsoft has a negative stance against stubbing and the Microsoft white paper).

Outlook integration will enable users to search and access all their old and deleted emails from a folder in their Outlook email client as if it were their Exchange mailbox or local PST file. Outlook integration reduces the workload for administrators and offers a much faster and improved archiving experience than products using stubs to access archived emails.
